Flexographic printing is a method of rotary printing which employs flexible plates, rotary die cutting, rapid-drying inks, in-line laminating, and other operations. Flexo printing machine allows to use up to 10 colors, gold and silver Pantones included. Ink is non-scratchable and can be used on thermo papers as well. Another effect is sector varnish for specific designs. Mostly used method to tone materials and add small repetitive elements. Can be used on very thin materials, such as sugar wrapping paper for personalized small sugars for cafeterias, organizations etc. Printing process is more complex than digital printing and requires specific preparatory work, but it is more cost effective for long run jobs with no variable details.
