Frequently asked questions

What information should be provided for price calculation/ordering?

  • Paper or film (PP or PE). The film will be moisture resistant and more resistant to mechanical impact.
  • Thermal paper – if you plan to print on a suitable printer.
  • Transparent film – if transparent elements are required.
  • Silver paper or foil – if metallic-looking elements are required.
  • Other options, such as textured materials, are available in this case. Please contact the project manager for more information.
  • Be sure to mention in your order if you plan to apply the label to a frozen product, want the label to be easily removable from the surface, plan to pasteurize the product, or have any other special requirements for the adhesive.
  • Varnish or laminate. Possible standard options – glossy or matte.
  • Varnish: a standard coating that protects the print color from environmental influences and gives a finished look.
  • Laminate: if the label must withstand mechanical or environmental influences.
  • Desired size if the mock-up has not been prepared accordingly.
  • Planned number of designs
  • Required quantity
  • Lamination method – manual or automatic (specify the parameters required for automatic lamination – include ring size, maximum roll size – roll direction).
  • Any special features, such as hot/cold foil, braille, plans to add additional printing with a printer, necessary perforations, variable information, etc.

Prices

  • Each sticker project is unique (the price is affected not only by the material and coating, but also by the quantity ordered, the number of stickers per roll, and other parameters), so it is advisable to provide accurate and complete information so that the customer service specialist can send you a price quote.
  • The price quote sent is valid for 1 month.
  • Additional costs will be incurred:
  1. if it is necessary to order: a new die, hot foil plates, flexo printing plates, special materials or other exceptional materials for a specific project.
  2. Making changes to the layout (see price list).
  3. Delivery costs

in Latvia: for orders under €100 – €9.00. For orders over €100 – free of charge. Shipments outside Latvia – according to the price list of the respective courier service provider.

  • All prices are quoted excluding VAT. If the Customer is not a taxpayer in their country of residence or if they have not provided their taxpayer registration number or proof of transport of goods from the place of departure to their destination in another EU Member State, VAT shall be applied in accordance with Directive 2006/112/EC.

Placing an order

  • New customers – olderi@olderi.lv. You will be assigned a customer service specialist who will contact you regarding your orders. Existing customers – contact project managers or use the customer portal: intra.client.lv.
  • The customer service specialist always sends an email with confirmation and the planned completion date.
  • Please note that the order fulfillment time is very short, which means that after the work has been approved, it is immediately processed and sent to production. If the order is already in the production process (printed or in one of the post-processing stages), the Customer undertakes to reimburse the production costs up to the stage of work completed. If the production process has not started, the work is removed from production and corrections are made. The costs are calculated and the deadlines are agreed upon again.
  • If you are unsure about how a particular project will look or would like to see different design variations, you can print sample sheet. This is a paid service with a turnaround time of approximately 5 business days.
  • No, that is not possible. Only fully approved and prepaid projects are put into production.

Layout

  1. Minor changes to the layout (barcodes, serial numbers, expiration dates, text changes, etc.) – €25 + VAT/hour.*
  2. Significant changes to the layout (color corrections, image corrections/replacements, adding/replacing new text blocks, creating tables, etc.) – €40 + VAT/hour.*
  3. Costs may vary depending on the quality, volume, and specifics of the work submitted.

Customer portal

  • The customer portal is a database for all of the customer’s printed files. For example, if you ordered the entire range of stickers you need in your first order, you can place your next order entirely through the customer portal, avoiding the need to repeat the same information.
  • The portal provides transparent access to already approved print files, avoiding misunderstandings and file loss. Orders are visible to the customer service department, so they will be processed without delay.
  • To gain access to the customer portal, please contact a customer service specialist. You will be able to change your password after your initial login.
  • Check that you have entered the data correctly; perhaps Caps Lock is on or you have entered an incorrect symbol. If you cannot access your account, contact customer service.
  • Once the order has been received, a customer service specialist will send an email with prices, delivery times, and other necessary information.
  • You can search for items by identification number, name, or size. If your company has an internal system with item numbers, you can send them to us to make it easier to find the right items.
  • The portal has a section where you can view all orders placed, including their history and detailed specifications.

Key issues

  • The standard order fulfillment time is 5–7 business days from the moment the project is approved.
  • For more complex jobs, or in cases where raw materials need to be ordered, or during peak order seasons (e.g., before holidays), the completion deadline may be extended.
  • Customers will be informed in the event of any changes to the planned order fulfillment date.
  • All new customers are required to pay in advance.
  • Orders are sent to production only after payment has been received.
  • To change the payment terms, please contact a customer service specialist.
  • Pickup: Līksnas iela 9, Riga, on working days from 9:00 to 17:00.
  • Delivery in Latvia via Venipak courier service or Omniva parcel terminal (1–2 business days).
  • Outside Latvia, delivery is provided by Venipak, TNT, or DHL (1–2 business days depending on the country, e.g., Lithuania, Estonia).
  • Germany: standard delivery 4–5 business days, express delivery 1–2 business days.
  • Complaints about quality defects are accepted within 20 working days after receipt of the goods.
  • You need to add a description of the defect and photos or videos.
  • The company is not liable for failure to fulfill its obligations due to external factors such as strikes, material shortages, natural disasters, or government restrictions.
  • OLDERI labels are designed specifically for product labeling – food, beverages, household chemicals, cosmetics, etc.
  • Recommended storage conditions for our stickers: dry rooms with an average temperature of 20-25°C and relative humidity of 40-50%.
