Color mode
The print layout must be created in CMYK color mode. If necessary, P021, P877 SilverMetallic and White can be used additionally.
Size and cutting lines
The file must have a clearly marked cutting line or crop marks. All important elements (text, logos, etc.) must be placed at least 2 mm from the edge.
Bleed
To avoid white edges, the design must extend 3 mm beyond the cutting line. This is especially important if the background is an image!
File format
The best format to submit is PDF (Press Quality settings). We also accept .eps, .tiff, .ai, and .cdr files. We do not accept layouts created with CANVA.com! (They are not suitable for printing.)
Image quality
All images must have a resolution of 300 dpi, with very fine lines at 600 dpi. Images must be fully embedded in the file. If this has not been done, they must be sent separately.
Text
All text must be converted to curves (create outlines) to avoid font incompatibility issues. Important! Fine text should not be converted to raster images (as it may appear blurred).
Special effects and materials
If the sticker is intended for foil, sector lacquer, or screen printing, these areas must be clearly distinguished and marked. If the sticker is intended for printing on transparent or silver material, a layer of white masking paint must be clearly indicated.
Useful tips
Rich black for backgrounds/large areas → Rich black - C:80 M:80 Y:60 K:100
Black text and barcodes → Only K:100% (without other colors mixed in)
DO NOT USE the "overprint" function! It can cause unexpected printing defects.
